The Tribute is located in Nelson Mandela Square on the grounds of Ottawa City Hall, at
the intersection of Elgin and Lisgar streets in the heart of Ottawa, Canada’s capital.

The monument can be visited 24 hours per day.

As of June 2015, the Human Rights Monument is lit at night thanks to the lighting design of the late
Philip Gabriel (Gabriel McKinnon), installation by FluxWorx and funding by The Ontario Trillium
Foundation.
